15 MW Electrolysis pilot plant RWE
RWE initiated a groundbreaking 15 MW electrolysis pilot project to research large-scale hydrogen production for the integration of renewable energies. Artelia played a central role by preparing the draft design and the necessary application documents in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act.
Maintaining confidentiality between the electrolyzer manufacturers was a particular challenge that required precise coordination. Artelia’s competent management successfully mastered this demanding task, enabling smooth cooperation. After a short planning period of four months, the approval notice was issued just 1.5 months after the documents were submitted.
Artelia is proud to have supported this pioneering project and played a key role in its success.
