15 MW Electrolysis Pilot Plant RWE

RWE initiated a groundbreaking 15 MW electrolysis pilot project to research large-scale hydrogen production for the integration of renewable energies. Artelia played a central role by preparing the design plans and the necessary application documents in accordance with the Federal Emission Control Act.

Maintaining confidentiality between the electrolyser manufacturers was a particular challenge that required precise coordination. Artelia’s competent management successfully mastered this demanding task, enabling smooth cooperation. After a short planning period of four months, the approval notice was issued just 1.5 months after the documents were submitted.
